Enjoy The Silence – Martin Gore goes solo

Martin Gore took to the road in 2003 to support the release of Counterfeit2, his second solo studio album.

The tour consisted only of a handful in dates in Europe, with two nights at the Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles to wrap things up in May.

On the final night, Gore’s penultimate song was a stripped (no pun intended) down version of Enjoy The Silence.

It’s probably about as close as you’ll get to hearing the original ballad version of Enjoy The Silence in a live setting.

“We’re going to have a go at this one…” 🙂

From the same evening, Martin’s two daughters join him on-stage for a cover of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds track, Loverman.
