We have some big news to share about Halo, ahead of the release of the upcoming ‘Memento Mori’ album in March and the start of the tour shortly after.
A German edition of Halo will be released on April 20 this year, via publisher Hannibal Verlag.
As with the original, English-language version, a number of retailers will be stocking the book and accepting pre-orders (more details below and on our order page).
This is an exciting development for the book following its release in September 2022 and our authors David and Kevin are thrilled that the team at Hannibal Verlag saw an opportunity to translate the text and publish a version for one of Depeche Mode’s key fanbase markets.
The German Halo features the same exclusive interviews, background information, photographs, timeline appendix and fan contributions as the original version of the book.
The interviewees, many of whom have not spoken about their experiences during the Violator era, include Steve Lyon, Gareth Jones, Roberto Baldi, Paul Kendall, Richard Bell, Neil Ferris, Bruce Kirkland, Billy Ray Martin and Andy Franks, with fans from the UK, France, US, Belgium, Germany, Northern Ireland and Greece.
